When the leaves become a blaze of colour and autumn draws over Eisacktal, you will discover one of the most famous South Tyrolean traditions: Törggelen. This ancient culinary tradition originated in the practice of tasting the young wine on the farms of our region.
A touch of culture special to the traditional South Tyrolean farmhouse parlours: up to 50 people can be seated in our panelled dining room, enjoying a sociable ambience and a relaxing evening among friends, a birthday party or a family celebration.
During good weather, guests can sit on the the sun terrace, with approx. 40 seats, and enjoy the views over the Brixner valley.
We highly recommend our homemade South Tyrolean delicacies, such as Schlutzkrapfen (stuffed pasta), Käsenocken (cheese dumplings), spinach dumplings, barley soup or a juicy "Schlachtplatte" (belly pork and sausage specialities) with roasted potatoes and tasty sauerkraut. Chestnuts and sweet doughnuts with a jam filling are a must when indulging in a "Törggelen". We recommend homemade apple juice and of course our excellent wine to accompany your dish. Our tip: the perfect culmination to hiking in South Tyrol - Törggelen.
